PCKS-EADO-CF – PoE IP Camera Network Disconnect for Privacy Control
The PCKS-EADO-CF is a purpose-built network disconnect device designed to locally interrupt video streaming from PoE IP cameras—while keeping power to the camera uninterrupted. Ideal for sensitive environments such as interview rooms, medical exam rooms, or any location where temporary video privacy is required without fully powering down the camera.
Installed in-line with the camera’s CAT5 Ethernet cable, the PCKS provides a reliable physical disconnect between the camera and the network switch. This ensures video data cannot be streamed, recorded, or monitored when privacy is needed.
The unit is designed to be used with ETS switch plates including the RRSG rocker switch or RKSG key switch (sold separately). When the connected switch is in the ‘ON’ position, the LED indicator on the RxSG is lit and the camera is connected to the network. In the ‘OFF’ position, the camera is securely disconnected from the network, disabling video transmission while maintaining camera power via PoE.
